This site is a guide, not an offer

The descriptions, photographs and details here are published in good faith to help you decide. They are not an offer to enter into a contract, and nothing on the site forms part of one.

Properties change. Bedrooms are refurbished, gardens grow, access arrangements alter. We keep the site as accurate as we reasonably can, but if a particular detail matters to your booking — a bed configuration, a pet, a step, a date — please check it with us or with the agent before you book.

Bookings are made with our agents

You cannot book or pay through this site. Our properties are let through agents, and each has its own terms, prices, deposits and cancellation rules. Those terms govern your booking, not these.

Prices change with the season and with demand, which is why none are published here; you will see them when you check dates with the agent.

Weddings and shooting

Wedding and shooting enquiries are answered directly, and any booking is made under a separate written agreement. Nothing on these pages fixes a price, a date or an arrangement until that agreement is signed.

Our content

The text, photographs and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission, and may not be copied, republished or used commercially without our written consent.

Hanging Stones is a project of the Ross Foundation and the artworks are the copyright of Andy Goldsworthy. Nothing here grants any right to reproduce them.

Links to other sites

Where we link to our letting agents, to the Nevill Holt Festival, to Hanging Stones, to Jigsaw or to anyone else, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their terms.

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
