A detached four-bedroom cottage in the countryside a short drive from Great Easton village, sleeping eight, and the most polished of the Nevill Holt cottages.
The hall sets the tone — hooks for coats, and a WC off it stocked with Bamford. Ahead, a bright dining room with an open fire at its centre and a barn-style door straight out onto the patio. The lounge adjoins it, with a fire of its own. Beyond that the kitchen, with an Aga and a reading nook tucked into the corner, and a utility next door for longer stays.
Upstairs are four generous super king bedrooms, every one of which splits into twins on request. Three of them look out over the countryside. The bathrooms carry the same Bamford toiletries.
The patio outside has a barbecue and proper outdoor seating, and a hot tub can be added for your stay. Nevill Holt's theatre and the Nevill Holt Festival in June are close by, with Rockingham Castle, Rutland Water and Market Harborough a short drive.
